The Society for the Preservation of Theatrical History brings together historical scholarship on the people, circumstances and societal forces that helped shape the modern era, combined with a performance element—Stage Struck—which allows the voices of these innovative and important ladies to be heard again in their own words.
Our upcoming program STAGE STRUCK: Reclaiming the History of Women in Theatre is made possible in part with public funds from Creative Engagement, supported by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and administered by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
